German vanilla pudding






From our German project partner Elsa-Brändström-Schule:)

Ingredients:
500 ml milk
2 egg yolk
1 vanilla bean (scratched out mark and bean)
1 vanilla sugar (packet)
1 tbsp sugar
5 tsp starch (heaped)

Preparation:
Boil 400 ml milk in a pot and scratch out the mark and bean from the vanilla bean. Stir the rest of the milk, vanilla sugar, sugar, both of the egg yolks and the starch until smooth. When the milk boils, add the other ingredients. Boil it together while constantly stirring. Give everything in a bowl and let the pudding cool down.
